Bio
Rebecca Van Fraassen is a Toronto based artist working primarily in film and animation. Rebecca is currently completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Painting & Expanded Animation at OCAD University with a minor in On-Screen Media.
Expertise
As someone with a disability, Rebecca looks at personal narratives to address themes of isolation. Rebecca’s films propose the potential to exist in a different world than the one we inherited. For Rebecca, filmmaking is an invitation to think beyond the material world and instead hold a vision of the next one.
